ABOUT US

Allwood Products produce wooden components for trophies and display items across the UK.

The original name of the business was K. D. Henderson which was established in 1968 as a partnership between Kenneth and Joan Henderson and later son Mark joined the business.

During the mid 1990's we started to explore different avenues for manufacturing and were given the opportunity to commence production of high-quality wooden products in a range of hardwoods, mainly for the display of figurines and limited edition models.

As the markets began to change we looked to the future and offered an alternative to solid timber.

We now produce many products in medium and high-density fibreboard using real wood veneers, developing a finish as close to solid timber as possible. The added benefit of using MDF enables us to offer a timber core from replaceable world timber stocks and use only a very small volume from the world’s hardwood forests.

As the company has grown over years and we joined the online world, the name changed to Allwood Products, still using old technics together with modern-day technology to help the manufacture of our products but still hand finished to keep a constant high standard our customers have come a custom to over many years.

Allwood Products now supply customers throughout the UK including trophy, limited edition, giftware, promotional and commercial trades.

We pride ourselves on the quality and finish of all our items produced in our South West Scotland workshops and are able to offer a wide variety of products and finishes from our range of standard and veneered boards to solid timbers.
